| Ceramic elements are used in many industries for many applications – usually where light is either not required or especially not wanted. They are also the most effective form of radiant emitter on the market. Ceramic elements operate in the temperature of 300°C to 700°C (572°F – 1292°F) producing infrared wavelengths in the 2 – 10 micron range. Most plastics and many other materials absorb infrared best in this range. This is why most plastics manufacturers use ceramic emitters. Ceramic elements are a large part of Thermal Products product range. We hold hundreds of full trough, half trough, flat and bulb emitters on the shelf. Most stock is glazed white as standard. However, we do stock limited quantities of yellow glazed FTEs & HTEs. Other colours that are available, but not stocked in Australia, are rose and black. |

Full Trough Elements are a curved ceramic element 245×60mm with mounting neck behind the emitter. Available in wattages from 150W to 1000W with or without a thermocouple.K Type thermocouple is available as a standard. We can also supply these with a J Type thermocouple, and can have them pre-calibrated prior to being shipped from Ireland. |
