INSLAB - INSCREED - HEATING MATS

INSLAB HEATING

Electronic in-slab heating uses electronic cables embedded in a concrete slab floor to provide continuous home heating. The slab stones heat at night and releases it during the day to provide continuous warmth. ELEXTRA Twin heating cables are available in ready made sets in a comprehensive range of lengths. This convenient "Twin" design means installation is straight forward - you simply start at the power source and work to the end of the cable, saving time and expense.

INSCREED HEATING

This infloor direct acting cable can be installed after construction in a screed under many different flooring surfaces including timber, stone, tiles (ceramic and vinyl), parquetry and wool carperting. TXXP provides a "quick response" heating system especially popular in tiled bathrooms and toilets where it provides pleasent warmth underfoot and keeps towels dry and tiled area's free of mould. TXXP can also be installed over existing surfaces including timber and concrete.

HEATING MATS

ELEKTRA Heating Mats may be used under any type of floor suitable for heating; ie under any floor which radiates heat easily such as floor tiles, slate, polished concrete, low-pile carpet or some wooden floor panels. An ELEKTRA in-floor Heating Mat is a very effective system of room heating and, if the room has effective thermal insulation, may be used as the primary heating system.

GRIMWOOD RADIANT HEATERS

Grimwood Radiant heaters are constructed from a strong heavy duty aluminium frame, stainless steel reflector, reliable tubular sheathed elements and high temperature wiring and terminal connections. They can be cable mounted on walls using optional mounting hinges, or from the ceiling either flush mounted or suspended by a chain, to allow heat to be directed exactly where it is required. The radiant heaters incorporate 1mm diameter alloy sheathed elements. Single ended connection to ceramic terminal blocks is incorporated in all models. All units are suitable for fixed wiring .

HLX Range

HLX Models are the inexpensive answer to spot heating, offering a cost effective way to provide instant heat to the smaller or localised area requiring comfort heating. Ideal for workshops, garages, Packing area's, church halls, shops, warehouses and small factories. With a click of a switch the HLX modular heating system provides instant warmth and is designed to blend in with the decor of any modern or traditional amenity, commercial or industrial working environment. Simple to install, the HLX models are supplied pre-wired in 1.5KW modules, complete with guards and wall mounting brackets. The can be linked in single,twin and triple formats. Not suitable for overhead suspension mounting.

HLO Range

HLO12WB & HLO15WB These two heaters create instant heat using quartz halogen emitters with a tungsten filament. Their body is formed from aluminium and heat resistant thermoplastic. They use an anti-shock emitter mounting system, comply with IP65 and are a unique and patented design. The thermal effect is significantly improved over existing products due to the revolutionary design combining a very effective reflector with a glass free front face. HLO75 This lightweight short wave infra-red heater is ideal for smaller installations outdoors where the heater is under cover. This makes it perfect for under parasols, awnings, in marquees, smoking shelters and gazebos. The heater is part of the new generation of heaters from Heatlight Technology where the accent is on running cost and low environmental impact. At only 750 watts the heater consumes a low level of power. Due to the open face technology and a special reflector, the shortwave infrared heat radiated is much higher than if the fitting had a glass front. The HLO75 features an outer body cast in aluminium with a powder coat finish, is water resistant to IP23 standards and has a 5000hr lamp life on it standard supplied neutral density lamps.

This short wave infra-red heater has been developed to meet the requirements of today’s needs for outdoor heating. The heater is weatherproof and is suitable to be used outdoors in any application; it is perfectly safe to be used in the rain and continues to work even when subject to intense water jets. Using a quartz lamp especially tuned to give a warm colour of light it also delivers high energy instant heat.

Some thermostats are specific to the type of central system (such as ducted, slab-heating or hydronic), and some are generic, able to perform a range of standard functions.
